Our keynote speaker, Sue Mahan, is an Associate Professor in the Department of Criminal Justice at the University of Central Florida. A long-time Florida Partners member, Mahan served as the chapter’s Regional director for Northern Colombia, a role in which she worked closely with the Barranquilla Partners and interacted with several organizations that supported women and children in need.
We will also welcome Carla M. Arias, a scholar specializing in the area of biomimicry. Author of “Collective Biodiversity Habitat Enhancement”; Biota TalesTM; and the forthcoming
The Biota Narrative, Arias aspires to spend the latter years of her life learning, advocating, educating, emulating and sharing biota intelligence for sustainable development, earth regeneration, biodiversity conservation, and planetary health and human well-being.
